I'm just writing to let you know that thanks to reading all of your queries on diswashers I have fixed my own. It was moved to fit a new floor covering and then wouldn't fill with water or empty. I was quoted £49 99 as a service charge and asked loads of people without success.
Having read your list of problems I tried taking the emptying/outlet hose off and laying it into a baking dish and then filling the inside of the dishwasher with water. I replaced the outlet hose and put the machine onto rinse and after a hesitant second all seems to be working again. thanks pals, you have cured the problem.
