Wonder if someone can help.

Have just had our dishwasher fixed - something to do with 'arms'...

Its been fixed for 2 weeks and on Sunday it leaked. On Monday it tripped the electrics when hubby put it on again, and then when I looked at it again there was no flashing error but when turned on and door shut, it does nothing. No beeping or anything. It hasn't emptied the water so there's a few inches in the bottom and its integrated so access not easy!

Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance.

Probably leaked into the base. Check the base and if necessary drain it.
The base is under the bit you put the dishes in.
If it works again, run it and check for a leak.

Not sure how I would get to the base bit if its integrated. any tips/ideas? or are you talking about the hole in the bottom of the main body of the dishwasher? sorry for being so dim!!

I'm talking about the base, the very bottom of the machine.
I can't help you with access as I've no idea how you're kitchen has been put together. Basically you'll need to get the kick plate / plinths off to allow access to the inspection panel under the door of the dishwasher.
You'll need some torx bits or drivers to remove the inspection panel.

Thanks for your help with this sleepyhead. My husband called out the engineer again and now we need another part???!!!

When they came the first time they replaced the upper spray arm, NTC (whatever that is), pressure switch and lower spray arm. Now, after the two weeks and this problem happened they say that we need a replacement pcb as its not giving power to the door at a cost of £162.42!!! Couple that with the £119 we paid two weeks ago for the spray arms etc and we could have bought another machine!!! Also, this time the man said that looking at our records they are doing the job at cost because the £162 is the cost of the part....

Does this sound right to you? I'm just sitting here feeling like we're being ripped off!!!

Thanks again in advance for your help. Don't know what we'd do without places like this!

can anyone give me any guidance on this at all please?

Sorry but you're asking the impossible. We do our best to do remote diagnosis but we can't compete with anyone seeing the machine. We don't even know what the original fault was.
