Dishwasher needs AFAIK a 40mm waste, handbasin is usually 32mm. You may have a problem with it draining properly if you connect it to the basin waste. Where does the basin waste go to?
Thank you for your response. The pipe I am looking at entering is the wide foul pipe running on the outside the wall from the up stairs toilet directly above the kitchen. I would need to drill into the foul pipe though, that is my concern?
The washing machine is next to the kitchen sink unfortunately. I am wanting to put the dishwasher where my under counter fridge is which is 4 units away. I'm pretty sure i can get cold water pipe there it's just the waste with the required angle that would be a problem. The 'stack' is plastic yes and directly at the other side of the external wall which the dishwasher would back up to.
