Anyone know if it's possible to dismantle a plastic pipe joint thay has been assembled using solvent cement with out damaging the joint so it can be reassembled with a new bit of plastic pipe?

Loved the video, if that was PVC for example then when burned, PVC plastic releases dioxins, a group of the most potent synthetic chemicals ever tested, which can cause cancer (dioxin is the most potent carcinogen known to science) and harm the immune and reproductive systems. ... PVC products also release toxic fumes if they catch fire.
Solvent weld pipe can be dismantled but it’s a bit touch n go and 10 mins of work can be undone in an instant.
If your trying to reuse a socket that’s in the wall say, then the process involves cutting the male pipe about 5mm outside of the female socket; then cut inside the socket, in the direction of the bit of male pipe that’s inside, using a hacksaw blade on its own, but only through the pipe and stop short of the socket. More cuts the better; then use a blunt’ish’ chisel or flathead to carefully tap and split off the fingers of pipe from inside the socket...
