Distemper

Been papering my landing and after some had peeled away, checked on here...would appear to be distemper, dark green and almost powdery. Seems my best option is to try removal - but - why on earth did the former woodchip stay on for so long (very firmly I might add)?

Why have you got rabbits on your wall?

Wood chip is one of those phenomenons that would stay till the end of the earth & beyond if left there.
