I have a landlord that requested a Distribution Board moved but was concerned about a couple of things that the BIC electrician did, even though it was signed off & certified.

The board is covered in black tape.....but shouldnt this be Blue & Brown sleeving?

The main earth conductor to the property is 10mm...shouldnt this be 16mm?

To see the pic go here.......

TheWife, try this LINK for a net based hosting service that costs nothing and does what you need.

Simply upload the image frm your machine and then cut and paste a link in the normal way, the Thumbnail link for forums is the best to use.

Ok....I'll try it this way.....

DISTRIBUTION BOARD

Is this tape acceptable? I thought it had to be brown and blue.

EARTH

This earth is the main conductor to the building and is only 10mm. SHouldnt it be 16mm?

It's a poor picture - can't really see what's going on there, but overall it looks a bit of a mess...
