Have anybody used DIY damp proofing cream or know what it is like i.e Results

Not a lot.

I have used a gravity method with a reputable silicone -water based liquid.

I made up 6 cups with 15mm pipe with 90degree elbow shoved into holes drilled in lime morta. Some leaked out and in those I mortad the pipe in to seal. I topped the cups up over a 3 week period and it appeard to saturate the morta. I used twice the recomended amount of liquid as it has a limited shelf life and I had plenty spare.

Then render inside with 3:1 + waterproofer, cured our problems.
