DIY Paving Slabs

Evening :)

I am interested in making my own paving slabs and would be grateful if someone could give a few hints and tips on materials needed, casting times and the like, in order to have some success. I presume a mold would be needed, so ideas on how one could be obtained / made would be great too.

buy a sheet of 2" hard styrofoam, cut out desired shape, place on plywood sheet and pour concrete let it set.
you can also add cement dye to different ones to make different colours.

or a bit of MDF with bits round the sides to keep it all in.

TBH i think its a waste of time, since you can only make 1 at a time, and wht if the mix is wrong, easier to buy them

you try telling my mother that - she is insistant...

thanks for the tips :)

make ONE then and then she can see what a bad idea it is, of snd dont forget to let it dry out for at least a week

you will also need to vibrate all the air out of the concrete.

it could be done using a hammer drill.
