Timber being the price it at the moment, I am thinking to dismantle an old 'log cabin' and reconstruct it in as a stud wall constructed shed. Then clad that in fence boarding or larch boarding.
I'm not sure I will have enough lengths to make the shed with 400mm centres. Can I use 600mm centres, since it's just a shed. I could clad the frames with OSB to stiffen it up.
Why dismantle the log cabin? It's orientated in the wrong direction and to swing it round 90 deg makes the entrance and windows on the wrong sides, facing a wall and fence.
If I dismantle, I can orientate it to make far better use of the space.
