Do any people on here have any experience. I would like to launch and recover from a moving boat that will be going somewhere between 7-8kts in wind up to 15kts

We can probably slow down a bit for take off and landing.

Any experience?

That will be somewhere near the maximum wind speed that it can handle if the boat is heading into the wind.

Remember that the automatic Return To Home (RTH) will return to the original take off location (and land in the water), not the current location of the controller unless you stop the boat, update the home location and then use the RTH function. The other alternative is to fly it back to your current location manually. You probably want to change it to hover on loss of signal rather than RTH to avoid it landing in the water on loss of signal.

Watch that you keep plenty of battery to return to the boat if the drone will be battling a headwind on it's return flight.
