Do EASYFIX plasterboard fixings actually work?

Guys, from your varying comments, it seems that this is not unexpected. I'll shy away from them in the future. Those new GripIt plastic ones look interesting...


They're a fortune and the hole they leave behind, should you ever want to move what ever it is you've hung, will leave a right mess to fix.

If it were a choice for me between these or spending on a RawlPlug gun and expandable metal fixings, for the bit extra, I'd go the rawlplug route. Not to mention they're tried, tested and solid.

Dragons Den has a lot to answer for.

I've always ditched any screws that come with them and use a 6 gauge gold screw
