By rendering, I can fit fascia board neatly upto the rendered wall, but I can't fit fasci board until I've fitted the roofing felt as the felt wraps over battens that are nailed over the top of the facia

Fitting the fascic first means I don't get the wall behind it rendered and it's unlikely to look as tidy

HELP!

Do your rendering, fit the fascias, put the roof on.

There shouldn't be any battens interfering with fitting the fascia?

Have u got a picture? Is there a soffit?

If it is a flat roof the fascia will need to be fitted first, the welted drip will be fixed to the fascia board.

If there is a soffit i would do all the roofline works 1st then render.
