Do I need a vanity unit mounting frame?

The pipes, supply and waste, utilise the small boxing in below the current sink. I would like to build up the boxing in to form a sheriff above the sink and then fit a wall hung vanity unit and sink.

In trying to find the answer through Google and you tube I can find mounting frames (like the ones you get for wall hung toilets) for wall hung sinks on their own but not for vanities.

Do I need to find a specific frame for a vanity, or would the stud work fit the boxing in be sufficient to hold the vanity and sink?
