In insulating my ground floor flat I am wondering whether I need to install vapour barrier on the following, I am using Knauf RS60 in both instances :

  1. Party wall between my flat and adjacent flat. Wall is of a cavity wall construction and room on other side is a kitchen
  2. Ceiling of my flat. Ceiling is of block & beam construction with flat upstairs having a raised floor fitted on battens (I think)
I know I will need to do the external walls, but am not so sure of these internals.

Thanks.

You could install a vapour check barrier if you wished. The assumption that both connected flats are lived in and heated, would imply that a barrier is not really required.
