Hi all, I've bought a nice-looking IKEA vanity basin unit (one with drawers, not cabinets), but my bathroom fitters are having none of it, saying that IKEA pipes are flimsy and will leak easily?? Surely IKEA won't be in the business if that turns out to be true... Any comments or experiences please? Thanks a lot!

The plumbing fittings supplied are euro sized and rubbish, I would replace them with McAlpine fittings, it won`t cost much.

Thanks a lot for the comments and advices. I'll ask my builder to replace the fittings with the McAlpine ones wherever he sees fit.
