We had a bathroom installed by a local bathroom company 2 years ago. The LED mirror has packed up and on removing it from the wall I was confronted with the wiring shown in the picture. Before I go in to have it out with the bloke, can someone confirm that this confirms to regs and if not what I need to quote to him.

Any help is massively appreciated.

Is it outside the zones?
Terminations should be enclosed, not exposed.

Shouldn't that be connected to a fused spur off that ring main so as to protect the light?
