Hi,
The answer to this question is probably "Ask the architect" but if anyone can enlighten me I'd be grateful.
I'm moving the kitchen from the front of my house (circa 1962) to the rear. This means that the sink (plus washing machine and dishwasher) will be in the room next to the bathroom.
The architect has drafted (and submitted to building control) plans which show the wastes from the kitchen going through the gable wall to a new "trapped gully" connecting via a new pipe to an existing inspection / interceptor outside.
Is there a reason why the wastes can't be connected to either the basin/bath waste or the soil pipe for the WC? Both of which seem to go to the same interceptor.
Thanks
F
