Does such a thing exist?

Scratch that - Just had another look - their 'anti syphoning valve' is simply a non return valve - so it isn't even a check valve - so does not even provide CAT2 protection

The rules don't suit muslims! If you put "muslim" in a search you will find fittings, Cat 5 backflow protection valve, etc. etc.
Shataf is one.

Mate, what is wrong with you?

In what way are our regulations based on religion?

You have linked to a company that recommends using a non-return valve. Do they recommend that, for example, catholics do not use non-return valves?

Sorry, I do not understand the "hate". I work for people whom have many different religions. So long as they pay me, I don't care what they believe in.

Do you refuse to get on the bus because the driver is "brown" and might be "muslim"?

I am not white, I am london born (Perivale). I am 55 years old- I was christened C of E, but I am constantly reminded that "some" people will never accept me a being English because I have a permanent sun tan.

I pity you.

From my understanding, its the other way around.

Islam requires followers to wash after Toileting, the problem in the UK is People want the facility to wash themselves with a Douche, but the issue then arises as many of the installations do not comply with the rules regarding backflow. (Backflow is the possibility of, under fault conditions, water being drawn back into the supply network.)

The Water Fittings Regs classify the risk of backflow from fluids in contact with ablutionary showers as Fluid Category 5 – the highest risk level – because of the likelihood of faecal matter, urine and other bodily fluids being present. Any Douche supplied via a Combi Boiler or Instantaneous Water Heater for example is likely to be directly connected to the mains supply without the required air gap, and so presents a risk of contaminating the Water Supply.

Unfortunately, most want the cheapest option, which is unlikely to comply with UK Water Regs.

You're being a div. See HL's reply.
Muslims very often ask for a spray head to be plumbed in to the supply to the WC for their particular Quranic ablution requirements, and basically, you can't. Maybe unless there's a high level cistern which you'd think would be OK as there's the required air gap, but I have a feeling it's not, because theoretically bugs could go back up the hose into the cistern, which they can't from the loo pan..

So who's prejudiced now??!!
Apology is in order!

I did hear a plumber complain about a muslim who demanded urgent attention because of his need to have washing facilities restored, but wouldn't pay emergency rates because it waste a religious requirement.
Self-induced religious criticism....

Point taken.

Sorry, I am just used to people here making Islamophobic statements at the drop of a hat.
