There appears to be a ridge laid on top of a gap between 2 other ridge tiles! Surely this will not keep the rain out!

I have taken a pic from the loft and you can see daylight!

You need that dude with long hair from the Stella TV ad to fix it! Looks as if the original ridge tile was dislodged and someone made a temporary fix in a downpour. Obviously it needs trimming to fit and bedding down with mortar.
 
TBH, it looks like they were working on the roof in this fine weather, come to fit the last ridge but realised it was 3:55 and they didn't have the saw in the van. Checked the weather, it will be calm and dry tonight and sunny again tomorrow, so put the tile on temporary and will be back firs thing with the saw.

If that's not the case, I'd be worried.
