does this look right?

Hi there, we have just had our kitchen fitted and just wanted to get some advice on whether it seems like the correct setup.

I have no plumbing expertise whatsoever but my only concern is the flow of waste water from the sink, because to me the direction of the pipe from the both bowls looks as though it is going into the flow of the washing machine waste pipe.

And also because there is a long piece of straight pipe wouldn't that be very easily susceptible to have oil and grease hanging around, and possible make the washing machine smell?

One thing i assume that i am right on is that there should be a plastic U-bend somewhere near where the waste pipe connects to the pipes?

Any advice is appreciated

The horizontal piece doesn't have enough fall.

I love the self-supporting WM tap and pipe.
And it's hanging from a push-fit joint.

Edit: Oh, it's OK. The flexi half-way along will be holding it up.

Interesting set up,

Get the firm back to do a proper job, Traps on both bowl outlets, then connect to waste pipe and fit washing machine connection to waste pipe
Secure Pipework

At the moment it looks like you could end up with the washing machine water coming up into the first bowl if there is a blockage.
Keep a mop and bucket handy.

Thats the standard kit that is suppied with 11/2 bowls, nothing wrong with other than the way it's been connected.

Would say whoever was not a plumber.

Looks like the first Tee with washing machine spigot could be wrong,

Turn the fittings the opposite way around might get away with it.
Although the new kit would only cost about £10.

Yep as Dan said it's all put together wrong, the 2 tees the wrong way round is the biggest problem.

I just hope they didn't do any GAS work as well - cos if it is up to that standard???
