Hi all.
Before I spend money on a plumber, wondering if I can do this myself. Does this toilet just get pushed on. Looks like I just shimmy the toilet to the structure and make sure they are aligned. Anything special I need to know?

Also, does anyone know how reliable the grey rubber bend adapter is on the waste pipe going down? Should I look at getting someone in to replace that or will it do fine. I don't want to have problems later on.

Thanks for any help.

I’d put a block of wood behind the toilet connector to hold it firm when pushing the pan on, a bit of fairy liquid on the rubbers then wiggle and push. If that doesn’t work….call a plumber!

It will push on provided the flush pipe and waste are lined up and the depth correct

Another option would be to use a flexi pan conn, you can attach that, then push the loo back onto the flush pipe.

I'll have a look at that.

Also, can anyone advise on the grey bend adapter that you can see going down. Should I have that replaced?
