Hi,

I got one of these from amazon thinking I could use it for plumbing.......I received it today and its a lot smaller than I expected.....it looks like its basically a gas powered electrical soldering iron that you can take the point off of to expose the flame.

I'm not a pro and will be using it for replacing some pipework at home.

It's in a sealed packet so I don't really want to try it in case I can't get my money back.

Read the reviews and that might put you off buying it. A good torch will last you a lifetime and you will be surprised how useful it will be.

Keep it if you're into cooking. Looks just the thing to caramelise the sugar on top of a creme brulee.

Because the blo0dy Japanese don't have a taste for it (too strong smelling) so I hardly ever get it (Lamb I mean).

That picture of the sissy blow torch brought it all back to me.

Sorry dude.

While a £60 torch has got to be a good buy ive got a hellfrauds 'GoSystem' torch which i got for about £10 with a tradecard and its done me ok for a bit of DIY looks just like the wickes one but the wickes on might be a poor copy...?
