Domestic Hot Water Heat Exchanger Descaling Advice.

My Vaillant VCW-sine 18 T3 W Domestic Hot Water Heat Exchanger needs descaling, what is the best descaler for me to use? It has been removed from the boiler.

Alternately, does anyone know a place that will descale it for me near Croydon in South London?

I have been doing some reading and found Fernox DS-3, would this be ok to use?
