Good evening everyone. In the interests of satisfying my, now confirmed, woodworking related OCD. Does anyone know how I can repair damaged edges on a softwood internal door. Are there any techniques and special fillers for such a job, got a feeling that the usual "paste" type fillers won't do the job.
Any help would be great
Cheers :)

if the door is painted or is going to be paintedm use car body filler, or chop out the damaged section and replace, useing plenty adhesive

Once re-built 3" on the corner of a painted door with car body filler re-enforced with nails.

Hadn't moved in 23 years when the house was sold.

Thanks Gents, looks like I'm off to the car accessorie shop!. Thanks again.
