Hi All,
Looking to get these door freshen up.
Question 1: gloss or satin and why? been reading on line last night but even more confused now really...
question 2: Any primer / undercoat needed ?
Question 3: Any preparation to the door required before painting?
one of the door is Bathroom door and would like to do both side - as it is bathroom - does it required different paint? because of the humidity

Anything else that I need to take in consideration before starting the work?

Thanks

Gloss is shiny and Satinwood matches PVC windows, not shiny. Satinwood holds onto the dirt so can become dirty on handrails, architrave near light switches, near door handles and on the edge of the door. Rule of thumb, if there's kids in the house, Gloss.

You can use either on the bathroom door, humidity is not a problem.

We sand the door with 120 grit, pop a bit primer on bare wood, waterbased undercoat and then Gloss/Satinwood off.
