Door handle has fell off :(

Hello, this is my 1st post so im not to sure but I have a UVPC door (Front Door) and it locks ok but when i lift the handle up it keeps falling off and when i push it back on it pushes the outside handle off and it wont stay on and im a bit worried ill end up stuck???! do I need a locksmith?! or what do i need to buy, its the two handles keep falling off and then theres a metal bar joiing the two. Is it easy to just buy a new door lock??

possibly a circlip holding it on or not in your case
is there a little groove on the handle shaft where it would be inside the plate on the door!!!

There are different ways that are used to secure upvc handles. Possibly a small screw underneath. Can you post a photo?
