Door hinges stuck?

I am trying to lower this door. The four door hinges appear to be bottomed out in the height position shown, and I can slacken, or even remove the height adjustment screws with no effect.

It may be that this already is the bottom of the hinges, but I am looking at the gap which seems to be about 4mm implying there is room to lower the door.

I think the pin from the top part of the hinge has got stuck inside the bottom part. I have swung the door vigorously, and tried to tighten and then slacken the adjustment screws but made no difference.

Is there something I can try, short of removing the door (which is very heavy)?

Yes, there are two allen screws : one at the bottom of the hinge to lift the door up/down, and one allen screw on the side of the hinge to tilt the door (move it towards or away from the frame).

Looking at the hinge it appears the "pin" is bent and leaning out. It also appears that it is not sitting fully inside its base. I lifted the door a little bit more ( 1 or 2 mm) to take a look and understand the inner workings of this hinge, Still not sure 100% how it is made and why it is not sitting fully in.

On this photo the hinge is 1mm up from tis bottomed out setting. And the bottomed out position seems to be 5mm too high. You can see a gap between top and bottom parts, and the tops of the two halves of the hinge do not align.
