Hi All,

Well still working away on the house and this weekend we have stripped paint on door frame, removed door stops and placed (some) architrave. We bought some std door stops from Wickes that are 3.2cm
The frame width is 14cm.
Previously the Door Stops were 7cm ish, and therefore look central on the frame, but these new ones look a bit small, will fit in the right place for the door to stop, but do you think that we should get something bigger for a more symetrical look?? How is this normally done.

I know this sounds like a stupid question, but we are trying to do the house perfect, only we are not builders / carpenters and so have to ask questions like this!!

Thanks in advance

Christine

if it realy bothers you phone up your local wood yard and ask them if they have or can run up some 69mm by 12mm "FINNISHED" size or whatever size your after for a doorstop "set"[usualy 1x2.1m and1x3m]
just dont forget to ask for finnished size
