Dot and Dab which way does the board go

Hi,

Was just a couple of quick questions: i need to dot and dab some plasterboard to a brick wall 1) Do i need to PVA the wall first 2) What side of the board goes to the wall brown or white i will be skimming the other side.

hi brown side to the wall skim the white side and u wont need to pva the wall, if its dusty just wet it 1st
