So I've lost my cherry on this, horrible sticky messy job if you're not a Youtube show off with years of experience. Anyway, I'm quite happy with the end result - I actually used dots and it's level and plumb. Only thing is I didn't push the boards right up to the ceiling so I have gaps, max 15mm, what's the best thing to fill them? Is the adhesive ok as it seems a bit prone to cracking?

I'd brush in a little sealer like pva in joint. When dry fill with board adhesive is fine as you have it all ready. Probably 2 goes but don't let first fill dry before you second fill to the make it easy and smooth.
Light sand
Seal and tape along when you tape joints
