Hi There

After many months I have finished the outside of my double dorma extension. I am now ready to install the celotex in the ceiling and dorma frame.

I have installed a couple of lengths but then realised that I haven't installed noggins to the roof (6 x 4) timbers - do I really, really need to fit noggins and if so what size and position (it's a cold flat roof so 50mm above the 100mm celotex will be for air flow).

Thanks for your help

What do the plans say ? don't they mention stepped noggins every xyz ?

If you are referring to mid-span bracings then you would need to fix these as a structural requirement.
