Double slatted/Hit and Miss fence

Hello.

My garden fence runs North to South an I need a new one. I understand a Hit and Miss fence panel will better withstand a howling wind.

Is a Hit and Miss and Miss fence panel the same as Double Slatted ?.

The reason for my question is that some sites have Double Slatted panels and others have Hit and Miss.
