Downlights with Recess Depth <65mm

dear all,

my electrician just found out that my ceiling depth is only 65mm high in my top floor. however, i planned to install quite a few downlights on the ceiling.

would you please very kindly advise if you have ever seen downlight mains depth less than 65mm? if so, could you please let me know the brand and MPN if possible?

You'll be stuck with LED or CFL types. GX53 may be an option.

Others, like THESE are available with a depth of only 39mm

But they are £167 each plus the dreaded

Why do you want to try and light the room with lights which are deliberately designed to be no good at that?

The inceptors are low profile fully integrated low energy fittings, you do have to expand the head/arm though.
