I am trying to replace my current downlights as they have gone rusty.
The issue is that I cannot seem to get them down.
I have no idea what make they are, there are no markings except the usual lamp details.
It is a fire rated downlight, so from the inside you can't see through the fitting to work out how it is held in the ceiling, but I think it must be the old blade style, not the spring loaded butterfly clips.
I am currently pulling my hair out trying to work out how the hell I can possibly get them down without having to re-do my ceiling.
please help me someone.
