Hi,

I am building a block and wood frame shed / workshop - thread here.
I have just laid the DPC and nearly finished the second course of 3 - 4 layers of blocks.

I need some advice on the following:

1. Where I had not laid the second course (The door gap and about 3/4 of a block that I had not cut) the DPC has not adhered to the thin layer of mortar that I spread below. Will this be a problem or is there a way of fixing it? If so with what?

2. One of my corners only consist of one block, If I stagger this correctly will it be strong enough to support itself and have a door frame attached to it? Or does it needs any additional support?

Here is the corner in question:

Thanks in advance
