how high above the outside floor level should dpc be laid?
can a internal floor be lower or higher than dpc course?
should dpm be laid before internal concrete is laid? and how should it be laid?
should the Brick bond above DPC be the same as below DPC?

I did say i have many questions to ask :D

how high above the outside floor level should dpc be laid? at least 150mm

can a internal floor be lower or higher than dpc course?
Yes they can, may have damp problem though ie cellars, so not good practice
should dpm be laid before internal concrete is laid? and how should it be laid?
Yes
start with
Sub-base hardcore
sand binder
DPC/DPM
Insulation
Slab

should the Brick bond above DPC be the same as below DPC?
normally is, the two leafs will have a weak concrete infill between the cavity down to the footings below the DPC, this infill should stop at outside ground level

I did say i have many questions to ask :D

correct way to do this bed brick course place DPM bed DPM place DPC over it bed DPC and finish of the brickwork,
also how much motar bed is sufficent for DP 5mm top and bottom?

am i making no sense? let me know if thats the case i'll try to better explain it

from posts i have read i would say thin mortar smear then dpm at least half way over the top of the brick, then dpc directly on top, then mortar bed for next brick course,
also regarding dpm higher than dpc i spoke to a builder today and he said its no issue its just like a tray in effect , only be issue if dpc failed on vertical part going past dpc level
