Evening all been ask by a friend to do single story timber frame extension
Popped over to check what he needs and noticed he needs one more course on internal skin for stepped dpc
Now the problem is he has cut dpm flush with concrete so can't wrap over to dpc height not being my area of expertise
I'm asking is there a work around for this all I can think off is he gonna need to remove a course if bricks then slide dpc down over lapping the dpm
Any other ideas as he is reluctant to do this

I suggested Bituthene because it will give a very positive leak proof "bridge" between the DPM and the DPC

But given what has been [shall I call it?] Butchered ? any remedial action is not an easy or fast fix.
