do you reckon i can just drain the entire system from one of these drain offs on the rad tails? (provided i can get a bit of pipe to fit over the outlet)
the downstairs trvs are all busted so im struggling to isolate and drain a rad before being able drain off the rest of the system from a valve

Right, upstairs rads all drained down and water flow stopped.
Problem....all but one of the 7 downstairs rads are not draining..... when i open the bleed valve on any of the 6 remaining downstairs rads, water is squirting out rater than air being sucked in......can anyone advise on how i can drain the downstairs rads?
(All bleed valves upstairs are currently open)

Well spotted. I was wondering when someone would spot that
They might be plumbed on drops, so each rad should have its own DOC.
Does the mean i have to drain each one separately?

These things are never straight forward eh?!
At least i can drain down just the Rads i want to work on i suppose
