I'm wanting to stop my garage from leaking and have thought of a solution but wanted to check it out with people who know!
Ok, the garage is at the bottom of the garden which is on a steep slope, when it rains the water seeps in at the back and side of the garage. The garage floor is lower than the outside ground level.
A channel down the side and back has been dug out as deep as it can be.
I thought using a damp proof membrane which I would then attach to the outside garage wall and use it to form a channel might do the trick? The other option I thought about was filling in the channel with waterproof concrete?
Any thoughts/advice would be greatly appreciated!
