i have a 1940 hose that is rendered to a bellcast bead then brick to ground level, bellcast above damp proof layer. we are putting in a concrete path. do we concrete all the way up to the wall or do we leave a gap and fill with pea gravel? and if so how deep do we put the pea gravel? thanks
