Draining heating system - urgent!

I think my electrician has screwed a screw into one of my heating pipes leading to/from a radiator in one of my bedrooms. I obviously need to look at the problem before I call a plumber but he has screwed the floorboards down, if I unscrew and its one of these srews thats the cuplrit I'm just going to make the problem worse aren't I?

If I turn water off at mains and drain the system does it also drain the heating system enabling me to investigate? I have a combi boiler if that helps.

Lastly (if you're still reading!) is if its a small hole can i fix it or does the pipe need replacing?

you don't have to turn off the mains to drain a sealed heating system,just drain through a drain tap which should be fitted low level on your heating system.if there is not one fitted you could drain upstairs via the safety valve fitted to your combi,just give it a twist and wedge it open then open all the air vents upstairs.you should be able to fix the hole with a coupling compression or push fit.

I've even nailed heating pipes myself once. Had to get householder to hold hand over small hole while I went for pipe freezing gear. She wasn't very impressed with me.

Often these pipes are very colse to boards, we usually solder them, you'll maybe get a tektight fitting on, or a compression but it'll be touching the floor.

You'll need to drain as said.
