Drainpipes spill water onto patio

I have a drain where the cover is level with the patio surface; I've attached a picture.

The problem is that when a lot of water comes down the pipes it tends to spill somewhat onto the patio. This is causing algae and I imagine it's not great for the mortar on the wall either.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this please? If it helps, the left pipe is the one from the kitchen and the right the one from the bathroom.

New drain below ground is required with a concrete gully surround

It's good you noticed it. Most ignore problems like that until damage is done

To me it looks like you need to remove the grid and clean out the gully, fit a 135degree bend to the kitchen waste and take it below the level of the grid which you will need to cut to suit.

If I remove the grid, doesn't that mean the drain will get clogged with dead leaves, hair from the shower, etc? Or is the idea to just remove it for a very brief period while the new drain is being installed?

How much is installing a new drain like that likely to cost?

Ok, so just redirect the kitchen pipe down so it ends below floor level, is that right?

Modern drains have an insert that catches grit and stuff which you pill out and clean everything 6 months or so.
Removing grid for a while won't hurt.

Yes.
And as Wayners said depending on how old it is there may be a lift out bucket type insert that you can pull out and empty. If not just get some marigolds and do it by hand. No need to replace the gully. Cut the grid so that the pipes pass through it. The bathroom one looks like it has alredy been done. There is no need to leave it off.

OP,
1. Why not post a pic showing the whole elevation from ground level to eaves, & a wider close up at ground level?
2. The bottle gulley has been badly installed - but would you want to re-install it correctly? How far do you want to go?
3. The pipework probably could be re-arranged but first the pics.
4. Does the interior wall surface show any signs of damp?
5. I'd suspect that the GL has been raised - maybe its bridging the DPC?
6. The pointing looks shot & in need of re-pointing.

Cut suitable holes, in the grid, and extend both pipes, so the discharge below the grid.
