I want a drawer that I can attach to the underside of a built in dressing table top. It would be used for make-up, so would not need to be really 'heavy duty'. I have bought the runners and brackets to fit the drawer, but I don't have a drawer yet! Can anyone advise on the materials and best way to make the actual drawer box (bearing in mind that my DIY skills are more in my head than in my hands  ).

What about something like these here.

(no connection to me incidentally) there are various types, and prices if you look around. you can screw a pre- made front panel on to suit.
Otherwise it's simple enough, to make a box out of PAR pine, butt jointed and pinned and glued at the corners, with a ply bottom in grooves.

Dave - have looked at the link, it's excellent. Thank you so much!
