I've found free drawing programs, but it's the learning curve. So I'm happy using MS Excel, so I'm using that it won't be exactly to scale but hey ho let's hope it's accepted. I did think about paying someone, but if I don't win my appeal on tge rateable value I will be out of pocket.

You can draw in Excel? Wow, that must be really hard work, if you can handle that you'll find LibreOffice Draw simple.
But I would have to learn LibreOffice. I know Excel very well. I've almost finished it now, just a bit if tidying up.
How do you draw in Excel? I'm intrigued, it sounds like an amazingly complex way of using something for a purpose it was never intended for. Kind of like hammering in a nail using a calculator!

Yes, turns out Excel has a draw option, I must say I'm impressed, it looks very professional.
Wow! Can it do lines and rectangles, or is it just for pre-school doodles?

If you are clever enough it can do most anything, it can even do calculations
I only need wall & doors, I don't need to show a toilet or boiler, so its all about boxes to scale, if you use AI it will tell you how.
