Drayton digistat

I have a drayton digistat , which is now being tempremental , the reciever gets the signal from the thermostat and the "heating " light comes on but the boiler doesnt , checking the wires with a multimeter and the unit isnt switching inside are these units prone to a relay failure inside ???? It is about 5 yrs old

Mine failed after a year, but the receiver wasn't even responding to the room stat. It was replaced FOC by Screwfix.

But yours is different. Can you hear the relay in the receiver click when the light comes on?

By "heating light", I presume you mean the red LED on the receiver?

mine has a red recieving light which flashes then a constant green light which should be heating on , no I cant heart a click so I think its knackered
