Drayton Mid Position Actuator Leak

Please Can anybody Advise me

I noticed a small leak on a valve screw above the Mid position Actuator (caused a patch on ceiling below) , so I tightened the screw by hand and the leak has stopped. However only being a novice DIYer I suddenly thought what if that was a pressure valve and was supposed to be loose would my tank suddenly blow up or was it just an out let for bleeding air from the system etc.

Just a thumb vent to let air out of system

tighten it up
