Installed it myself. Commisioned satis. Set the times on the stat to my own ok.

My problem is-it turns the heating on whenever the temperature falls below what is set on the stat, reguardless of the timer settings. Basically as if it is on all the time. Any advice welcome.

You set the temperatures at different levels throughout the day, and the stat will control the boiler and switch it off when the target temp is reached. after that it will hold that temperature until the next program.

If you don't want it on at certain times you set it at 7c, for frost protection.

Also make sure the setting you want is correct on the right hand side ie timer, constant day / night, program etc.

Thanks for the replies.

I have set it to "timer" on the right hand side.

I'll try setting the temperatures as you say.

It is possible that it is wired slightly wrong as I dont have the boiler instructions.

Its a Worcester 24CDI.

It can't be wired slightly wrong, it's like being pregnant; it is or it ain't.
Doing wiring work on a boiler without the manual is not a good idea, unless you know the machine by heart; get a manual and check that all is correctly hooked up.

Depending on how many wires you have from the receiver to the boiler, there are two ways of wiring.

One wire to boiler
Connect L and N to permanent 240v supply
Link L to Common
Connect 3 to boiler Lr
Remove link between Lr and Ls

Two wires to boiler
Connect L and N to permanent 240v supply
Connect Common to boiler Ls
Connect 3 to boiler Lr
Remove link between Lr and Ls

thanks go to "doitall"

I just needed to set the temperatures as you said. Works a treat now. I misinterpreted the instructions.
