Would someone point me towards an alternative head which would clip into the fixings of my defunct drayton. It is a valve which moved from 1o'clock to 5 o'clock to switch between HW to CH and viceversa.

I was wondering if there was something more modern/reliable and cheaper than the £110 I found on ebay.

There are certainly cheaper alternatives; but reliable? They all break down at some time. If you change the whole valve it you'll probably have to drain the system and possibly alter the wiring. This version has a a little wiring centre that goes with it if I remember correctly? You could change the head in 15 minutes or change the whole valve and spend an hour doing it, and then 2 hrs clearing air locks  ;) . Up to you really.

do you know anywhere else - shop - where I could get on of these draytons?
