Hi all,

I have a Worcester Greenstar 25i with a Drayton LP20RF control panel.

The timer is set so that the heating will come on three times a day Mon-Fri:

0630-0930, 1230-1430, 1730-2000

On Saturday-Sunday I only want it to come on for two blocks:

0630-0900, 1730-2000

This leaves a redundant block in the timer settings since three are available. So I have 0900-0900 as the third block. Idea being it wither won't come on or will come on briefly at 0900 when it is just finishing the first block. This seems to work.

Anyway, the problem I'm having is that the boiler is still coming at lunch time on Sat-Sun, as though it is following the Mon-Fri settings. The boiler knows that it is Saturday and says so on the display.

Weirdly, last Monday, it didn't come on at the lunch time block as though it was following the Sat-Sun settings. I used the advance button to get it to come on.

Any ideas? It otherwise all works as programmed.

Thanks

Aah, I think I've realised what might be causing it.

I have the blocks set like this as I cycle through the menu:

Mon-Fri
1730-2000, 0630-0930, 1230-1430

So the blocks are not in time order.

Mon-Sat
1730-2000, 0630-0900, 0900-0900

I wonder if this confuses it. It turned out this way after I last changed it all and it was quicker to do it as above. Perhaps it results overlap between weekday and weekend, and vice versa somehow?

I'll change it all round and see.

... also, the manual says that 1200-1200 should be used to remove one of the three blocks. I used 0900-0900 which may be of significance.

Think I'll reset and start again
