Hi all i have just bought some new straight drayton trv 4 thermostatic radiator valves with their respective lockshield valves. I already have some other straight trv valves that i bought before they produced a set. I would now like to buy some more lockshield valves to go with my existing straight trvs as the drayton ones seem to be at an angle not straight like the normal ones i can find. I have a part number from the packet and drayton tell me that the number is right for a straight lockshield valve , but there best hep as to where to buy from was try the wolsey group who when you ring give you no help at all. The part number i am after is 07 05 906 .

A picturer of the valve with the trv is shown below on screwfix

Any help to track these lockshield valves down appreciated

I am guessing that no one else has any more of an idea than me then, seeing as 30 people have looked at the post but not one reply , oh well i will have to get back onto drayton and see if they can point me in the direction better than last time

Screwfix don't stock them.

I seem to recall our Drayton rep saying you couldn't get them separately. H&V Controls are one of the largest specialists in the UK and their web site doesn't list them, I am not in the office so can't check their catalogue, which has other items listed.

This is one of the reasons we standardised on the Honeywell VH200 and VT200, because the bodies are the same between trv and manual.

As far as I'm aware Drayton don't produce a straight lockshield valve, there are matching valves.

A google reveals several.

Buck, you are missing something, i only want the lockshield valves and not the trv valve and body , as i already have these, i know there are other types of straight lockshield valves available but after fitting a couple already i just want the straight lockshield to match. , i know its a bit fussy but there you go. I dont fancy spending £25 just for one lockshield valve. I have contacted drayton direct and the part number i quoted above they have confirmed is the part number for the straight lockshield valve on its own .as i said there best help was to contact wolsey group. But as yet they have not replied to my calls or emails.

Any help is much appreciated to try and find these elusive items.

Thanks

Nick
